MASCOT and GMB Motorsport have entered into an agreement for the main sponsorship of the 2023 season, thus extending their partnership for the coming year.
Managing Director of MASCOT Michael Grosbøl has the following comment on the extension of the main sponsorship agreement:
"From the very beginning, we have felt the enormous will and enthusiasm that lies behind the GMB Motorsport project. As a new team, it is pretty audacious to set your sights on the stars. It takes courage, dedication and commitment, and these are all qualities that we share here at MASCOT. And so it was only natural for us to continue our partnership with GMB Motorsport in 2023, and we look forward to being a part of their development in the coming year before things culminate with their participation at one of the very biggest arenas within motorsports: the 24 Hours of Le Mans."
As main sponsor, the MASCOT logo will continue to be clearly displayed on all GMB Motorsport cars and team uniforms at all the races in which GMB Motorsport participates – both nationally and internationally.
Over at GMB Motorsport, they too are naturally very satisfied to announce the extension of their main sponsorship agreement with MASCOT, who shall for yet another season be kitting out the entire team with products from the MASCOT® ACCELERATE range.
Team Manager at GMB Motorsport, Casper Elgaard has the following comment about the extension of the main sponsorship agreement:
"Naturally, we are pleased that we have got the agreement in place. MASCOT has been with us all the way and they have been a very important partner in the pursuit of our goals, which we have largely succeeded in achieving over our first year in the sport. We can see ourselves reflected in MASCOT in many ways, as they too strive continuously to be the very best in their field. Ours is a partnership that we hope we will be able to continue for many years to come."
GMB Motorsport was launched with the ambition to make a difference in Danish motorsports. Their primary focus is on helping young and upcoming talents to develop from budding prodigies within go-karting to first-class drivers in the standard classes TCR and GT3 and within the huge international scene around the Le Mans endurance race. Talent development does not end with the racers – the team also places great emphasis on developing its mechanics and other roles. In the 2022 season, GMB Motorsport won the Le Mans Cup, qualifying the team to participate in the legendary 24 Hours endurance race at Le Mans in the summer of 2023.
